Can AI read your store?
Paste your store's address and in about 30 seconds see the technical signals that affect whether AI assistants can read it: robots.txt, blocks, sitemap, product data and more. The checks run from Comprable's infrastructure and do not certify access by each assistant. No sign-up. The tool is in Spanish.
People used to search. Now they ask.
A few years ago, customers typed into Google and picked from ten links. More and more of them now ask an AI and get a single answer with two or three names.
If you are not in that answer, you are not in the decision. And it is hard for an AI to recommend what it cannot read or understand.
I want to give someone artisan honey. Where can I buy it online?
I would recommend these stores:
- marketplace-b.comWide range and fast delivery
- tienda-a.esProducer honey with strong reviews
- tutienda.esThis is where your business could appear
Google's AI Mode reaches Spain and answers shopping questions citing websites.
Google, 8 Oct 2025How much cited brands overlap when the same question is repeated. That is why Comprable repeats every measurement.
University of St. Gallen, 2026A small brand deserves to be in the answer as much as a big one.
At Comprable we care about every business.
A small store has what people look for when they ask an AI: products with a story, a personal touch, something you cannot find just anywhere. What it often lacks is making sure AI can read and understand it, and big brands have whole teams for that. At Comprable we make sure your store has it too, with the same rigor, at your scale.
Illustrative example, not a guaranteed result.
What Comprable works on, technically
When someone asks where to buy, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Mode rely on what they read: your website, your product pages and the guides and directories in your niche. If that information is incomplete or unreadable, it is easy to be left out. Comprable checks that it is complete and readable, and shows you which sources assistants cite.
Comprable checks the technical SEO that AI needs to read you (crawling, structured data and product data), which also benefits Google.
And Comprable proves it with numbers: it asks the same questions several times and shows you the share of answers you appear in. In the services that include follow-up or historical comparison, it also shows how that share changes over time.
- Reading
- Comprable checks that AI crawlers can get into your site and understand it: robots.txt, sitemap, product structured data (schema.org) and shipping and returns policies.
- Catalog
- Comprable reviews your product data and, within the agreed scope, recommends fixes so that your product pages and the Merchant Center feed are consistent with each other.
- Sources
- Comprable identifies the guides, lists and directories assistants cite in your niche, analyzes where your competitors appear and recommends opportunities. It does not manage publications or guarantee inclusion.
- Measurement
- Comprable asks each buying question several times in each assistant and calculates the share of answers you appear in. In the services that include follow-up or historical comparison (Monitor Growth and Pro), it compares that share with previous results.

Diagnose, measure, fix as agreed, follow up
Where you stand today
Comprable reviews how AI reads your site and, in the services that include measurement, asks your buying questions several times in each assistant. You see how often you appear and which stores show up instead.
A catalog AI can read, if you hire it
Diagnosis and fixes are separate services. Only if you hire an intervention, Comprable fixes within the written scope the technical problems that stop AI from reading your store: product pages and structured data. Access is requested only when that work needs it, with minimum permissions, and you remove it afterwards.
Follow-up, only if you want it
With a Monitor plan, Comprable checks your site periodically and alerts you if something breaks. Growth and Pro add periodic measurement and comparison with previous results, as described in each plan. A new measurement happens only if you have contracted it.
Each phase is a separate service with its own scope and price, agreed before it starts. No new measurement is scheduled by default.

Frequently asked questions
What is GEO?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is visibility in AI assistants: getting ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI Mode to mention or cite your store or business when someone asks where to buy or who to hire. It's similar to SEO, but instead of a Google ranking it's measured as the share of answers you appear in.
Is this SEO?
Partly. The technical base is technical SEO: making your site crawlable, marking up product data correctly and checking that the Merchant Center feed is consistent. That helps AI assistants and Google too. What Comprable does not do is a keyword or blog strategy, and it does not promise higher Google rankings: the goal is for AI assistants to be able to read your site, and to measure whether they mention you.
What does “appear” mean in Radar and Monitor?
Two measures, each with its own name. Total presence: the answer names your brand in the text or cites your site among its sources; each answer counts once. Mention and citation together: both happen, which is the Index criterion. Failed queries do not count as absence: they are excluded and the report declares them.
Does it work for a local business, like a clinic or a law firm?
The measurement does: Comprable asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity with the city included, and shows you which businesses they mention and which sources they draw from. It is available on request. In Comprable's tests with dental clinics and law firms, the businesses each assistant named changed a lot from one query to the next, so Comprable cannot promise that you will appear. The full service for local businesses is in preparation.
Is it guaranteed that I'll sell more?
No, and nobody can guarantee it. Each assistant generates its answer on the spot: it searches its index (for ChatGPT, its own crawler and Bing; for Gemini and AI Mode, Google's index and Shopping Graph), picks a few sources and writes. The same question can get different answers depending on the day, the location or the wording.
What can be controlled is that your store is eligible and easy to interpret: open to their crawlers, with structured data (Product, Offer, price, stock, GTIN), a Merchant Center feed consistent with the site, and presence in the sources assistants cite.
What gets measured: a fixed set of questions asked several times in each assistant in the services that include measurement (in what share of answers you appear and which stores show up instead). Analyzing the visits that AI sends you requires a separate assessment and quote.
Why can't AI buy directly in my store?
ChatGPT retired in-chat checkout in March 2026, and Google's is only open in the US, Canada and Australia, to selected merchants. Today the assistant recommends and the shopper buys on your site. Your store stays ready for when direct checkout opens to more merchants and countries.
How is this different from self-service apps?
Those apps are self-service: you configure them yourself. Comprable analyses your site whatever the platform and, where applicable, prepares the changes with your access and permissions, with WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Shopify as the usual platforms; the scope of each implementation is confirmed before starting.
Do I need technical knowledge?
Not for the audit. The diagnosis starts from your store's URL, your platform and the information needed to review it, and neither Audit nor the founding spots include any modification. Access is requested only if you hire an agreed intervention that needs it, with minimum permissions (see the next question), and you remove it afterwards.
Do I have to grant full admin access?
- No full admin access by default. Access is requested only if you hire an agreed intervention, with just the permissions the agreed tasks need, and you remove it afterwards.
- Shopify: a collaborator request with limited permissions is the option we would assess for your project. The procedure is still pending validation in real stores.
- WooCommerce: whether a role with fewer permissions is enough or a temporary administrator is needed depends on the agreed tasks. The procedure is still pending validation in real stores.
- PrestaShop: requires a specific quote.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer. Once your spot is confirmed you receive the invoice with the bank details, and work starts when payment is received. Card payment is not available for now.
What do I need to have ready before starting?
Just three things: your store's URL, which platform you use (Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop) and the information needed to review it. Hiring a founding spot is not authorization to intervene in your store. If you later hire an agreed intervention, we will ask for the access described in “Do I have to grant full admin access?”, with minimum permissions, and you remove it afterwards.
Why is the founding spot so cheap?
It's a new service with no published cases yet. So the first spots are a reduced audit at a launch price, with limited places.
